About the Watershed
The Pocantico River Watershed is around 9 miles long, and is part of the larger Hudson River Watershed. This region is an ecologically sensitive area as well as home to millions of people. The river begins in New Castle, passes through Rockefeller State Park, and ends in Sleepy Hollow where it feeds into the Hudson.
